Under 20 °C, 68°F temperature, solubility (20 °C) >250g/l. bulk density: 1.1-1.2 Chemical properties: the active substance is potassium monopersulfate compound, KHSO5. The compound provides powerful and effective non-chlorine oxidation for a wide variety of industrial and consumer uses while treatment process meet the requirements of safety and environment protection. It is stable under normal condition but dissolved above 80 deg centigrade. KMPS is active to react with other chemicals as it can be the oxidizer, bleacher, catalyst, disinfector and etchant etc.

1. Sanitary disinfection: As a sanitary disinfectant, it can kill pathogenic bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus albus, Bacillus subtilis var. nigra, etc. It is used for disinfection of hospital sewage, swimming pool water, fruits and vegetables, food processing tools and equipment, surfaces of hard objects, and indoor air.

2. Animal disinfection: It can kill bacteria and viruses that co-infect humans and animals, especially having excellent disinfection effects against diseases such as foot-and-mouth disease, avian influenza, African swine fever, etc.

3. Aquaculture: When reacting with water, it releases active oxygen, which has oxidation, sterilization, and algae inhibition effects, and reduces the concentration of harmful substances such as NH3 nitrogen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, etc., improving the aquaculture environment.

4. Other uses: It can also be used as an etchant for printed circuit boards, and as an initiator for the synthesis of organic compounds, etc.
