Tetraacetylethylenediamine (TAED)
Tetraacetylethylenediamine, abbreviated as TAED, reacts easily with peroxide to form peracetic acid in an alkaline environment. It has a stronger bleaching performance than hydrogen peroxide at lower temperatures and is usually used as bleach activator of peroxide. It is usually used together with sodium percarbonate or sodium perborate in detergents and diswashing agents, etc., and has strong functions of bleaching, disinfecting and sterilizing. At the same time, TAED helps to reduce the bleaching damage of cotton fabrics, and the reaction products can be biodegraded, which is an ideal bleaching aid.

Application

1. Washing industry
As a peroxide activator, it enhances the washing efficiency, disinfection, and sterilization functions of peroxides in low-temperature water.
It is an efficient low-temperature bleaching activator widely used in laundry detergent, color bleaching powder, dishwashing agents, and other solid detergents and detergents

2. Textile printing and dyeing
The combination of hydrogen peroxide/TAED bleaching system is a new method that is recently applied to textile bleaching. It can not only lower the bleaching temperature and achieve good bleaching results at low temperatures, but also bleach under near neutral conditions, thus providing good protection for cellulose.

3.Pulp and paper industry
