Applications
Disinfectant:In swimming pools and spas for the purpose of reducing the organic content of the water.
Printed Circuit Board Etching:It is used as a micro-etching for cleaning and preparing copper printed wiring board surfaces.
Paper Recycling:It is a convenient and effective processing aid for re-pulping wet strength resin or secondary fiber furnish.
Textile:It is used as an oxidizer for the treatment of wool to prepare it for the application of shrink-proofing resins and laundry bleach.
In addition, potassium monopersulfate compound can be used as oxidant of sulfur-containing substances such as hydrogen sulfide in wastewater treatment, low-temperature oxygen bleaching agent in detergent, oxygen supply agent in aquaculture, etc. It is a free flowing white granular powder, which is easily soluble in water. It is composed of potassium bisulfate KHSO5, potassium bisulfate KHSO4 and potassium sulfate K2SO4. The oxidation function of potassium bisulfate complex salt comes from the chemical properties of high acid. It is a very effective oxidant and disinfectant.
