1. Oxalic acid is mainly used as reducing agent and bleaching agent. Oxalic acid can also be used in the production of cobalt-molybdenum-aluminum catalysts, metal and marble cleaning, and textile bleaching.
3. The plastic industry is used to produce polyvinyl chloride, amino plastics, urea-formaldehyde plastics, paint chips, etc.
4. Dyestuff industry is used in the manufacture of salt-based green products.
5. In the printing and dyeing industry, it can replace acetic acid and be used as a color-developing auxiliary and bleaching agent for pigment dyes.
6. As a mordant, antimony oxalate can be used as a mordant, and ferric ammonium oxalate is a medicine for printing blueprints. 8. Oxalic acid can be used to remove rust.
