The capture capacity of sodium isopropyl xanthate in flotation of nonferrous metal sulfide ore is slightly stronger than that of ethyl yellow acid. It is mainly used for a variety of nonferrous metal sulfide ore flotation collector, also can be used as hydrometallurgy precipitation agent; also used as rubber vulcanation promoter.
